Cultural and social activities

Around the Symposium's sessions, there will be a rich offer of cultural and social activities.

There will be music on the Swiss alphorn, our colleague Dr. Hajo Sassenscheidt will play the piano for us on Saturday, and on Friday morning we will be welcomed by the 'Stephan Bienwald Trio' with songs that each of us knows and associates memories with.

Conference Dinner

The conference dinner on Friday September 9, 2011 is going to take place in the beautiful Casino Zug. A delicious 3-course menu (including wine and non-alcoholic drinks) is included as well as an interesting entertainment programme.

Quantensprung

Four young musicians and students of Nidwalden und Zug perform an innovative, fresh and virtuosic kind of folk music.

Improsant

Improsant improvisational theatre thrills the audience. The Zurich improvisers need no scripts and no rehearsals of the scenes. They create dialogues, setting, and plot extemporaneously together with the audience. Thus, the spectators become scriptwriters, directors and critics at the same time.
